A - A camera housing may cost between £10,000 & £50,000. A camera may cost between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on it's type.

Q - How exactly are the police resources used in the safety camera partnership?
A - The Partnership has a close working relationship with the Greater Manchester Police, as once we have taken the films from the camera and processed them, we pass them over to the Central Ticket Office, who work on prosecuting the offences.

Q - Are speeding fines not just another back door tax?
A - Not at all, the only people who pay these fines are the motorists who are speeding. For everyone else who sticks under the limit, no fines will ever apply.
